CHALLENGE – The Right To Health
The project
Africa Basque Challenge is a program that works to strengthen the capacities of young rights holders and duty bearers of the Basque, Senegalese and Kenyan society, through this program, to demand from duty bearers, the Human Right to Health and the fight against Neglected Tropical Diseases (hereinafter referred to as NTDs).
Objectives
- Africa Basque Challenge seeks to influence the social commitment of global citizens to sustainable human development, the defense and promotion of the Human Right to Health and the fight against Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs).

1st Prize – Support people with diabetes through follow-up and monitoring for preventive diagnosis in Kenya.
Working on emotional intelligence within companies to generate spaces of well-being in the Basque Country.
Supporting and accompanying women with postpartum depression in Kenya
Preventing depression in Kenyan youth through support and community building.
Raising awareness of the right to health by training children in Senegal through a book with leaves that filter water to obtain drinking water.
2nd Prize – Use of a water cleaning system in Kitengela (Kenya) to provide drinking water in one of the driest areas of the country.
3rd Prize – Manufacture of limbs from recycled plastic for people with functional diversity to move in a better way and as an accessible good in Kenya.
Improving nutrition in rural areas by creating an insurance scheme to provide a healthy and diverse diet in Kenya.
